Beyond the main dish, Hattie B's excels in offering Southern-inspired sides that complement the fiery chicken perfectly. The Bacon Cheddar Grits merge creaminess with smoky bacon richness, while the Dirty Bird Fries add a loaded, indulgent texture with layers of cheese, sauce, and crunchy elements. Red Potato Salad, baked beans, and fried pickles bring traditional Southern soul to the plate, maintaining authenticity across the board. Their Peach Cobbler and Banana Pudding cups provide sweet finales, though opinions vary slightly on texture and execution—nonetheless, they round out the meal well.

Ordered fried chicken sandwiches, bacon grits, and loaded fries. Chicken was HOT and tasted amazing. Loaded fries and grits were great options! Looked for a local favorite, and this did not disappoint. If I were local this would be my spot. Parking is limited only gripe.

Traveling to ATL and wanting chicken, stumbled upon this spot. I got chicken tenders, and wings, grits, baked beans, fries, and banana pudding. It seemed to be a spot that was very regular as people were sitting outside as well as inside. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I don’t like extremely hot food so I got mild, and it had enough of a kick where you tasted it, but it was not overpowering. The wings were not whole wings. They were wing pieces which always just frustrates me because I feel like it’s a rip off. But again similar to the strips the taste was very good. The grits are awesome, smooth, with bacon flavor or bacon in it so they taste wonderful. Also, the baked beans were semi sweet, but also very tasty. I was not the biggest fan of the banana pudding as the texture or how it was made. I just could not figure out. So I only ate a little bit of that overall, I would return if nothing else because the chicken does taste really good and the grits and fries are absolutely awesome

Kevin Brown Jr aka KBJ was amazing! Started when we were outside trying to figure out where the entrance was at until we paid the check. Vibe was great. Food was delicious. I was warned about the "damn hot" level but i took it down like a champ! Maybe I'll try the "Shut the Cluck Up" one next time. They had some merch and I got some. Especially the one with the roaster wearing them Jordans! Next one will be to try out the one in Vegas, closer to home. Thanks for this experience! I would say this is similar to Howlin' Ray's back at home/LA. the chicken was juicy and the flavor was there. Keep up the good work! Great service KBJ!

So far the best crispy spicy tenders I have had. I wanted to go crazy and try the spiciest one. But chose to go for Hot. It goes best with ranch. The chicken was cooked to perfection; it was not dry. Juicy and flavorful it was. Their pain killer drink was OKAY; didn’t go well with the hot chicken. I wish I would have tried some other drink. It had overpowering flavor of something but couldn’t identify what it was. The service was great. The person who took the order and the server both did a great job. They checked-in every few minutes, if we needed anything. Overall - a good experience

On a recent trip to Atlanta, we had to try Hattie B's hot chicken. We had the 3 Tenders (mild) with Bacon Cheddar Grits and Baked Beans. The chicken tenders were juicy on the inside with a flavorful coating that wasn't greasy on the outside. The mild had just the right amount of heat for me, but my husband will try the medium heat next time. The grits had a great taste, but they were way to thick, like they'd been sitting in the warming pot too long. The Baked Beans were just okay, nothing special. The chicken gets 5 stars. The sides get 4 stars (they could be better).

Love the hot chicken here...better than my Nashville Hattie B's experience! Try the habanero... next to hottest. Great heat, great flavor...still enjoyable. Cheesy grits and Southern greens both very nice. The Jack n Coke slushy was a nice addition to my meal.

Hattie B’s Midtown is hittin! I had the breast and wing with fries and the chicken was juicy and paired with the bread and pickles was “fast food” chef kiss. Lots of staff and quick service, food was to the table within 5-7 minutes! Definitely will be back, keep up the great work.
